I have used a screen protector of some kind on every one of my handhelds from my first cellphone up through my psp, and this is the best I have ever seen.
The package instructions are a little intimidating at first, requiring you to shutoff the device and remove its battery. It went on surprisingly easy for how involved the process looked on paper, dedicate some actual time to it and do it right and it looks amazing. Took 3 minutes to install and I am confident I could use my phone as a shuffleboard puck and not scratch it or have the film come off.

I ordered the Skinomi TechSkin after reading reviews online. I found one at a good price and ordered it. When it arrived, I looked at the installation instructions and thought that the process was way too involved. After sitting for about a week, I decided to tackle the project. I watched a video or two about how to attach the skin to my phone. I ended up making a big deal about nothing. The skin went on simple, no bubbles. It looks good and I feel that my phone is protected from scratches. Make the investment and protect your phone, just don’t be scared by the instructions.

I’m believe it. It is the toughest, most durable skin that I’ve ever had for a smartphone. Unless I really try to pry it off with my fingertips, it isn’t going anywhere. It’s also incredibly unnoticeable and easy to install (the only pain being removing the battery from the Palm Pre and getting the film to align with both the earhole and the voice sensor). The only gripe I have is minor; the screen doesn’t appear as bright as it was without the TechSkin. Otherwise, it’s a good choice if you’re considering a screen protector. Plus it’s hard to argue with a lifetime guarantee.

After sitting down with the instructions, applying this protective screen was no problem. The instructions mentioned an applicator card which was not in my package (not sure if it was supposed to be) but I used an old credit card which worked fine.
The screen is now scratch resistant and much easier to clean when it gets smudged from fingerprints and whatever.
I see no difference in the screen brightness or the functionality of the touchscreen. It feels different than the phone screen itself (slightly more resistance when you run your finger across it) but that’s to be expected and did not create any problem for using the phone.
I also like that it’s designed specifically for the Palm Pre Plus with its shape and cutouts–no need for alterations!

Lots of the screen protectors are designed for the Pre, which has a button at the bottom. Wanted one that fits properly. This one does.
Went on easily without bubbles. Works Well.
Supposed to be that new self-healing scratch correcting plastic. My previous screen protectors on lots of gadgets all got too scratched to use after a while. High hopes for this one.
