Skinomi TechSkin goes beyond traditional screen protectors, skins, covers, and cases. This cell phone protector is made from clear thermoplastic urethane film – the same film used to protect military aircrafts and NASA space shuttles. The produce seems very durable, and provides coverage on approx 90% of the device. Following the directions to the letter, left no visable bubbles or fingerprints. My only problem was that I didn’t like how the pieces on the side only provide partial protection. I later decided to remove the sides pieces, and I currently have only the front and rear pieces (4)installed. Speaking about applying the product, its a little bit more involved that just placing a screen protector or similar item on the device. Once on the Droid Incredible, the matte black rear cover on the phone will appear shiny, allmost glossy black. After one day, its very difficult to notice that the front of the device has a “skin” on it. But, you can feel it. Using the touch screen with the “skin” on seems to be not has slick when using the touchscreen with your finger. No big deal. I would recommend this product to friends, if you do not care for the bulkie cases currently on the market.

This adheres easily, and eventually the air bubbles do minimize. The touch screen sensitivity is not decreased with this covering. The covering does protect the screen from scratches.
The die cut pieces for the sides don’t fit very well. They also cover the entire side, so you are unable to remove the back cover to get at the battery or SD card. You could cut the pieces in half to do this. I found that when I applied the side pieces, they stretched out so that they overlapped on the ends. I ended up peeling them off the next morning, as it looked terrible. I only wanted this to protect the screen, so I’m not terribly upset that the sides didn’t fit well.

I purchased this for my wife’s incredible and she was very excited to have a thin protective layer on her phone. The screen protector has been working great but to be honest the rest of the pieces either look terrible or don’t function well.
I would recoomment this product again but only for the screen protector or for a simpler phone that doesn’t need 15+ pieces adhered in order to protect the sides/top/bottom/back.

Just be sure to follow the directions and you shouldn’t have any problems at all when applying the shield.

took like maybe 2 minutes. applid solution place shield on screen, push air bubbles out of the screen and i’m done.
