This is a really great case. When I got my iPhone 3G a month ago I did some quick research and most of the cases available seemed too bulky or too expensive for what you got. This case gets a lot of positive feedback (some quick Google and YouTube video review searches will tell you as much), but my impressions:

    Pros

+ Not too bulky. The case is probably as thin as you can hope but still offer solid protection for your phone. I can still easily slip this in my jeans pocket and it feels nearly the same as the iPhone alone.

+ Nice grip. The case is hard plastic but has a rubberized quality to it. I’m not afraid of my iPhone slipping out of my hand at all.

+ Not a lint magnet. Despite the rubberized grip, lint doesn’t stick and it’s easy to brush any loose debris off with your hand.

+ Doesn’t “stick” in your pocket. I know this is an issue for many people (myself included!), but it slips in and out of your pockets fairly smoothly.

+ Inside “felt” lining. The case actually has a soft felt/velvety fabric lining that 1) doesn’t scratch your iPhone and 2) makes the case slide on very smoothly. It’s a really nice added touch that makes you feel like the case designers put a lot of thought into the details.

+ Fit – the case is a perfect fit; my iPhone is not loose, all the holes (camera, buttons) line up perfectly, and everything is still easy to access (volume controls, hold button, etc.)

+ Protection – the front of the case actually covers the chrome bezel, so basically the only thing not covered is the screen itself. Get yourself a screen protector (I recommend the Power Support Anti-Glare, very nice!), and you’ll be set.

+ Logo opening… Some people don’t like this but I personally like the fact that you can still see the logo on the back. It’s a nice way to protect your phone without detracting from the design touches of the iPhone itself.

+ Value. Compared to other cases I’ve seen for this price, this one is by far better quality. If you’re gonna spend the money on a case go for something worth your dollars.

    CONS

    - Price. OK honestly I think ALL cases are overpriced so this is not a criticism on this case alone. Just have to say it though.

    - Fit. This is either a pro or a con, depending on how you look at it… Before putting this case on I had the Power Support Anti-Glare screen protector on already. When I first put the case on, it caused the screen protector to lift up in the corner because the screen protector was not on 100% straight (the Apple store guy did it for me; it was good but not perfect). I had to take the screen protector off and reposition it (which is possible, if you are super careful!), and now everything fits nice and straight. Case and screen protector together in peace.

So be careful: make sure your screen protector is perfectly centered because this case is an EXACT FIT.

In summary, I love this case!

I was searching for a minimal bulk case that allowed me to pocket the phone and easily place it inside a hip case. The shell protects the iPhone from scratches and minor impacts. The felt interior is a nice touch. The case is stylish and many people I handed my phone to didn’t notice it. I quickly grew to prefer the feel of the case over the bare iPhone.

    -1 Star

I agree with other reviewers that the lower shell’s tabs are somewhat flimsy. Use care attaching the lower shell during installation and subsequent cleanings.

This is indeed a perfect solution for those who love the design of Apple’s G3 and don’t like the idea of something bulky. The material has an excellent tactile feel and a sleek matte finish that holds up quite well to dirt and dust.

Cleaning the phone is no longer an issue.

I agree with the other reviews – The PS Anti Glare combined with this case eliminates any worries about prints and day to day maintenance.

    Very Nice

Yes I was super excited to receive this case. After spending at least $100 on cases, I now have the perfect pocket case (for my needs of course). I love this case just as much as my Incase Sliders.

    What I like about it…

-I like that it is very low key looking and not some flashy looking case. It keeps me my age (30) which I like.

-It is VERY form fitted to the phone, bulk wise. I was shocked. You can definitely see a difference between the Innocase and say the Griffin Iclear.

-If you have a good alignment with your screen protector, this case will have no problems at all. I have mine paired with a PS Anti-glare, awesome.

-It has the perfect amount of “lay on the table” where as I found most cases having too little or too much. It covers the bezel perfect, which I prefer.

-Love the fact the inside is lined with soft felt. I feel MUCH more comfortable knowing I don’t have plastic on plastic.

-All the ports and camera hole is aligned better than any case I’ve used.

-No problems with throwing in/out of pockets

    What I don’t like…

-Honestly, I can’t really think of any. I got the case for $30 shipped and that’s not bad at all. That’s with priority shipping. At first, I thought the circle cut-out would bother me, but it really doesn’t. I’m actually growing to love it. I slapped a square screen protector on the apple logo and then put the case on (no worries of scratches there).

If your looking for a low-profile looking “throw in the pocket” case this is definitely one to take a look at. On a side note, I hear the holster is top notch as well. If you want both, order them together because it will be cheaper.

I bought this about 3 months ago, and it’s been a good case. Anytime I can buy an iphone accessory anyplace but the Apple store, I do. Their prices are a rip off. This case has a very nice feel to it. It has a soft padding on the inside to cushion the while sliding in and out. There is a circular cut out revealing the apple logo on the back, I wish that were not there, as it does expose that logo to whatever may scratch it. It’s pretty easy to take the phone in and out, which I find useful because I put the phone in another armband case when I’m running or working out. That (taking the phone in and out) seems to be hard on the case and the tabs on the bottom section, and I’m most likely expediting its demise by doing so. I don’t know how long it will last, but so far so good.
