It’s supplemented by an exterior TFT LCD (80 x 80 pixels, 65K colors), which enables quick viewing of the time, caller ID, and more.
This phone enables you to store up to 300 contact entries with 500 total phone numbers, 600 email and 300 Web addresses. It has a call history of 20 outgoing calls, 20 incoming calls, 20 missed calls, 60 recent calls. A built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear, and advanced voice activated dialing makes calling your friends, family, and associates easy (up to 30 entries). Simply say the name or number of the person you want to call and the number is dialed automatically without using the keypad. It also offers PIM organization applications (calendar, to-do list, world clock, calculator, and stopwatch), 4 distinct vibrating alerts, 72-chord polyphonic ringtones, and a 2.5 mm stereo headset jack.

Sanyo Katana II 6650 Pink Phone

This phone is very cute. It’s very slim, which is nice. Good reception, so far no dropped calls (this depends on your network though). I have the pink. Doesn’t have much protection to it if you were to drop it. It doesn’t look there are many options for skins or cases out yet. I’d recommend insurance on your phone just in case it were to break.

I bought my phone from a sprint store. I was a Nextel customer and had to switch to sprint. So far, I have not had any issues with either. As a matter of fact, I absolutely love my phone. It’s easy to use, extremely stylish, takes great pictures (I have yet to see another phone under $200 that takes pictures anywhere near as good as this one). I admit, if I were to drop it there probably wouldnt be much left. But you usually can’t have everything, it’s stylish Vs. rugged. Also, the ringers you download sound amazing, nothing like the motorola phones I have used in the past. For text messaging, the inbox is huge so you don’t have to always pick and choose which ones you can keep.
I don’t know if it is because of the phone or the service but calls are crystal clear. Even on a bluetooth headset. (That was really easy to set up to by the way)
About the only thing I could think of to improve on would be a longer battery life. The manual did not come with recommended charging times. Battery life usually last around 18hrs. I use mine a lot for texting though so it may last longer for other things.
I would definitely recommend this phone for anyone from the average user to the on-the-go techie.

This phone sufficiently satisfies my cellular needs. I primarily use the phone to talk and text. I also enjoy taking, sending, and receiving pictures. Some extra features, like the alarm and calculator, come in handy also.
The reception is comparable to my previous Sprint phones. The earpiece volume adjusts easily while talking. The ring volume also easily adjusts. I can hear the ringtones clearly, both downloaded and programmed into the phone.
The camera offers adequate picture quality. The pictures appear clear on the phone’s screen, but when expanded onto a computer screen or photograph the image gets a little fuzzy.
My husband broke his Katana II in less than a year. However, my phone still works well after bouncing around in a purse and getting tossed by a toddler many times. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone looking for a typical, quality cell phone. (sam)

I have this phone for my daughter and the display screens have failed twice. Phone works but no display. Spring will say that still is a functioning phone. Unless you paid for replacement ahead of time, you have to rebuy. I wouldn’t buy this phone again.
