Phone Features
Measuring just 0.39 inches thin and weighing 2.5 ounces, the svelte candybar-style 5310 has a standard keypad, five-way navigator, send/end keys, and two soft keys, as well as music playback buttons (play/pause, reverse, forward) set on the left side of the LCD. Useless product because the screen is so fragile, I’ve managed to crack the LCD on one and the external screen on another with minimal pressure. Piece of crap in my opinion.

i like this phone since you can add music and pics. it has one gb where you can add may things even though i havent tried to add music i guess is a nice phone. the only thing i dont like of this phone is when you connect it to your pc it takes a little bit of time to charge, but other than that is a good phone. another thing i love from this phone is to add a song and use it for a ring ring when someone call you. good stuff. the thing i really dont like is in this phone you cannot surf on the net for free as i used to do it with a metro pcs phone.

I’ve had this phone for about 7 months, and I really liked it. It is so slim and it looks really cool. The music capabilities are really nice and the camera is semi decent (even though it is slow).
However, it is pretty fragile. After the first or second time I dropped the phone, the music buttons stopped working because that side of the phone was a little dented – and I didn’t drop it very far or hard at all! I have dropped my phone a handful of times since then and the music buttons started to get really loose. They are now to the point that the buttons come off completely (they are held on by tape) and sometimes the keypad stops working because of it. I have had other phones before, and dropped them much more and harder and they never fell apart like this one has.
I really like the phone, so it is hard to give it a bad review. I would just say to get insurance on it, or be very very careful with it.

I bought the phone because it is slim and it is Nokia. The phone has all typical Nokia features. But the phone signal reception is very weak. I know that Tmobile signal is not very strong in my area. When it is out side my pocket signal is ok, but whenever I put it in my pocket it loses signal. I noticed this after few days when my friends told me that they could not reach me. I ended up using my old samsung phone.

I have owned the Nokia 5310 for about 1 year. Very pleased. You can easily use this phone as an mp3 player, and that’s my favorite thing about it, along with it’s small size and durability. I have stopped using my iPod altogether after having this phone. The software comes in box with the phone, and the cable to connect the phone to your computer. I highly recommend buying a “micro SD card” in addition so you have lots of memoory to store mp3 files without using the phone memory. You can transfer mp3 files from your computer to the phone very easily and fast.
It’s great for texting because its easy to switch between languages. Makes texting Miami Spanglish easier.
Also when you install the PC Suite software (in the box with phone) into your computer you can arrange your texts from the phone to your computer, and organize by name (instead of date/time). If you go through a breakup, instead of having to delete your ex’s texts one by one in the phone, Just plug in your phone to the computer, sort by name, and DELETE. Much easier.
The camera is so – so…it’s too delayed when taking a picture.
However- my first Nokia 5310 seemed to have a malfunction. It would freeze and reboot itself like a bad computer- a lot. However, the phone was still within warranty so T Mobile replaced it with an identital one. I have had the replacement for a few months and it seems to be fine.
Overall- great size and great for music lovers. If you start to get a freeze and white screen- call while it’s still within warranty and get a replacement.
