This item is described as resisting dirt, which is totally false. This item collects every bit of dust and lint that it encounters. It is also hard to remove because it sticks to the case. The end result is that the case always looks dirty. Not attractive or fun to hold. The case is lightweight and thin (a plus), but all the dirt it attracts makes it negative to use.

This rubber skin on its own is really insubstantial. As a few other reviewers have said, it’s quite thin and it tends to slip off when you stick the phone in your pocket. However, I decided to pair this with the Zagg Invisible Shield – ZAGG invisibleSHIELD for BlackBerry Bold 9700 (Full Body)(I think there are other brands that make invisible shields, as well). I wanted to prevent scratches while also giving the phone a little cushion in case I dropped it. So, the two things go really well together. The invisible shield was definitely NOT as easy to apply as the videos and instructions make it seem, but I eventually was able to get it applied. A nice plus was that, after applying the invisible shield, this silicone skin doesn’t slip off in my pocket! To summarize, this skin on its own is pretty worthless, and an invisible shield doesn’t provide any cushion, but the two are great together.

first 2 days, it sticked to my phone. then after it loosen up. and after a week, phone can get out of the cover and get in with out need of further stretching.

I have a friend who has the same phone and she has a silicon case as well that is very bulky and covers the speaker and leaves just a little hole for sound and therefore it is muffled when you talk. i like this case because it protects the phone as well as being thin. it did attract dirt at first as other reviews stated but now i think it is worn enough to not let the dirt stick. i have had this same case for 2 months and it is starting to stretch a little but havent had any problems with my phone coming out of it in my purse or anything. i will probably be ordering another of these cases when this one is done in!
