Finally, Sprint Radio offers more than 30 channels of both music and talk radio, from hip-hop to Latin pop to NPR.

Design
The RAZR V3m’s design takes the standard clamshell form factor to the next level with an impressive, fully anodized aluminum construction. A large 176 x 220 color display with 65,000 colors dominates the inside of the top cover. The outside cover of the handset, meanwhile, sports a supplementary 96 x 80 full-color display that can show caller ID pictures, time, call information, battery, signal strength, and more. The 1.3-megapixel camera lens is housed above this display, while up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control.

Most of the phone’s features and onscreen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset’s backlit control pad, which is precision cut from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy. The RAZR V3m also boasts 30 MB of embedded memory for storing pictures, videos, and downloaded Power Vision content, plus you can expand your storage space with the phone’s microSD memory card slot. Note that the phone does not include a 2.5 mm headset jack, but does include a headset adapter in the box, along with a charging port and USB data cable port.

When my family switched from AT&T to Sprint (big mistake on its own), the free phones at the dealer just happened to be the Motorola RAZR V3M.

For about 6 months, I had my RAZR and it was OK for about 3 of them. Occasionally, it froze, but it wasn’t too bad of a problem. The last three months I had this phone, it froze up about once or twice a day. Finally, I decided to hop onto ebay and bought myself two broken LG Rumors and worked my magic to form 1 working Rumor.

    STAY AWAY FROM THE RAZR!!!

This is my second Razr phone (had a red one also) and both phones had the same problem. When charging it would switch from connected to disconnected on and off. A new battery would last for a couple of days then if you charge at around 10pm and take it off at 8am the next day by 7pm the red battery signal would appear. I tried many batteries and many chargers. The phone looks great, doesn’t scratch but the inside is a piece of junk.

I had a Razor for about 18 months and it died. Nw they want hundreds for me to replace it. I only have a few mnths left on the “plan”. I went and bought a Virgin Mobil phone for $10 and is workable for the money. and the fact there isn’t a “plan” to join make this a smart move I should have done a long time ago – take the plans and stuff it!

Sure the Razor is great phone but who wants to spend $250+ for a phone that is too easy to get lost, stolen, broken etc.. If my new phone goes – I’m looking at a $10.05 replacement. Sprint an keep their phones – free is not free when you have to contract for 2 years. Virgin Mobil is great for people like me who only make a few calls a week.

I got my Razr from Sprint and have since moved up to an LG Lotus. The Moto is solid (probably could stop a bullit) but the software is slow, the screen small and the battery weak. Pass it by.
