I had purchased this charger in place of my damaged Garmin C550 car charger but it does not server the purpose as my GPS detects it as connected to PC. The GPS doesn’t start it shows image as if its connected to a PC. Therefore, I had to buy a different charger for my GPS. But it charges my HTC cell phone perfectly.

I bought this item to operate a Ipod type device in my car as it needs a mini USB connection for non-battery power. Plug it in the cigarette lighter and into the device for recharging and non-battery usage.

I purchased this Motorola mini USB car charger for use with my Sony Ericsson Xperia phone, and I am pleased with its performance. In short, it is exactly what it says it is. And no, it hasn’t ruined my Sony Ericsson phone because this is Motorola branded…the brand has nothing to do with its compatibility. Anyone who says otherwise is foolish, because that’s just a myth.
If cord length is an issue, you may want to search around. I would describe the cord length on this one as standard. It’s fine for charging while your phone rests in a cup holder, but it’s not designed to be charged while the phone is being used (i.e. held up to your while talking). To be honest, you shouldn’t be driving and talking with a phone to your ear anyway.
I would definitely recommend this one, especially when you compare it to other mini USB chargers based on price…at $5 this one is a steal.

Can’t beat the price and quick delivery. For this brand name charger, retail stores want between $30-40. Great bargain.
