Motorola H780 Noise Canceling Bluetooth Wireless Headset

This head set has the “new UN-improved” Micro USB charging socket. It won’t accept most people’s standard Mini USB car chargers (most in use Motorola phones RAZR, SLVR, KRZR etc. and most Blackberry’s have the Mini USB as of Feb 2009) I think Motorola did this to just to sell another set of car chargers because the standard plug is so close in physical size yet won’t work with the new socket.
Note: the H780 does not come with a car charger only a cheap 5V .55A wall unit.
To solve this major irritation, buy a mini USB to Micro USB converter cord for as low as $2.12 (search for “micro mini USB” on Amazon there are a bunch of sellers).
Or better yet don’t choose this model and send a message.
Didn’t the Cellphone industry just come to an agreement to stop changing jacks every model just to sell more adaptors?
Shame on you Motorola!

Lousy Headset! I have had nothing but complaints that people can’t hear me. It’s going back to AT&T today!!

Motorola has elevated noise cancellation to an art form with this headset, because not only does it cancel the noise, it also cancels the signal. Although the headset is easy to use and the reception is clear, only fragments of your speech actually get transmitted. I guess Motorola is a firm believer in spiral development. Maybe for the next upgrade of this headset Motorola will proudly be able to advertise that “we think that at least half of what you say is worth listening to”. After a few more spirals, this product might eventually be worth buying.

I had purchased this item at Best Buy for 1/3 more than what I got it for on Amazon and even free shipping. I came home, purchased it with free shipping turned right around and returned it at Best Buy. I received it within the week and was very pleased. Thank you for the cheaper price.
