I bought this adapter cable so that I could continue to use chargers and cables I purchased for older Blackberries with my new Bold 9700. The cables do a good job and work as advertised.

For those of us that have migrated to a new phone or smartphone in the last year or two, this is perfect! Why buy new car chargers, new wall chargers or new sync cords if you can adapt the old ones? This small adapter is female mini-USB on one end and micro-USB male on the other. It is about 3" long and the small cord on it is for attaching it to the mini-USB end of your present charger. Of course you do not have to use that, but it keeps you from misplacing it.

The adapters worked on every charger for my BlackBerry Tour, using cargers that came with my older BlackBerry Curve. The USB cable used to sync to my computer's calendar and contact list also worked perfectly through this adapter.

These were well worth the money. I only wish I had bought more of them the first time!

I was FORCED to buy a new phone but was not thrilled to find out that the charger interface had changed... i did not feel like getting a bunch of new, expensive accessories considering everything else in my life is regular USB (camera, HDD, bluetooth, GPS, mp3).

THIS LITTLE INEXPENSIVE BUDDY MADE EVERYTHING OK! BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutly wonderful adapter it is conncted to my car charger and the lanyard is tied to it! So when you take off the adapter it will be hanging from the charge so there's no way you can lose it! I love reusing cord, why spend $30 on a new car charger when you can reuse your old cord with this great adapter! I recommend this to everybody you will love it!
