This item does NOT NOT NOT work for the Sprint HTC Hero. the Hero does not use this shape of USB connection, so the charger here will not work with the Hero.

This is my favorite cell phone car charger. I loved the fact that I can neatly put it away without a long cord hanging out. I love the little blue light so that you know its working and that you still have it plugged into your car.

This charger works perfectly with my new HTC Hero. Like has been said already, it’s not the same shape as the Hero’s “weird” shaped USB port, but it fits in perfectly and charges great. Glad I didn’t pay $30.00 at the Sprint store for the same product:)

The recoil has not tangled up once and the reach is long so i can still use the phone if i needed to.
