   i love it looks nice on my desk and much easier than plugging in. i plan to buy a couple more for my nightstand, table beside my chair in the living room.

   Note that you have to plug the charger that comes with your blackberry into the charging pod or buy an additional one; with that said I have one of these at home and one at work, and it is a must-have accessory in my opinion. All those good things the Blackberry can do (I have the Tour 9630) suck lots of power, so battery charging would be a nearly daily activity. When placed in the pod, the clock shows the current time as the phone charges. If you have the phone programmed to shut down at night, it still does that, still wakes up when it is supposed to, still rings if you get a call. Great accessory.

   This little piece of plastic is perfect for the nightstand. I packed away my alarm clock and now my Tour (which needed to be by my bed for work reasons) is the only thing on my nightstand. The stand is sturdy, small, and looks good. The Tour stands up at the perfect angle and it charges all night while automatically putting it in bedside mode so all you see is the clock. No message light, no keypad lights… just the clock. Perfect.

   I bought this charging pod for my Blackberry Tour because I didn’t want to have to plug a small cord into the device every night. So I got online at [...] and found this charging pod…. What I didn’t like was the price they were charging for it! So I came over to Amazon and found a great deal on it, in fact I bought 2! One for my nightstand and one for my desk at work the deal was so great.

   I now am able to drop my blackberry tour into the charging pod at night and have it automatically turn on bedside mode so that I don’t get email alerts, text messages or mms messages. Also the keyboard light goes off and screen dims and clock shows full screen.

   It’s very nice because I don’t have to worry anymore or mess with turning on bedside mode, etc. Just drop it in the charger and it automatically goes into alarm clock mode while turning off all alerts except phone calls.

   I highly recommend this charging pod, keep in mind it is a CHARGING POD and will not sync your blackberry.

   It’s extremely easy to use and set up. Its properly weighted so that it doesn’t tip over when the BB unit is installed and importantly seems like it’s solid and well made.

   Good product.
