I had a similar dock to this for my 9530. You do have to be very careful when shopping for this dock, some sites consider all the “Storm” devices the same, so you may end up with a dock that won’t work on your Storm2.
That said, this is why I’m slightly unhappy. Not thrilled that the dock from my 9530 doesn’t fit my 9550. Not Amazon’s fault…

I like charging stands for my gadgets. However, when my Storm 2 is plugged into this one, most of the time I get an error message on the Storm 2 that there isn’t enough USB current to charge, and my battery level goes down FASTER than if it wasn’t plugged in at all.
Same USB cable plugged into the same port on my wall-powered hub charges the Storm just fine when not using this “charging pod”.

Charging pod works great. Only downside, is that you have to remove it from the case before putting it in the charger.

I really like this charging cradle. My BB9550 fits in it perfectly and I can still perform most functions while it’s in the cradle. This is an elegant, well built item.
