Ok, I installed by myself, no bubbles (lucky me =D), but the multi-touch doesn’t work so well now, and the privacy isn’t so privacy in landscape

When I applied the privacy screen on my phone I loved it but when I tried to unlock my phone I could NOT…..after several times trying to unlock my phone I finally just had to take it off. Waste of Money!

While it really did the job of making the iphone screen black from angles when other people might be looking at your phone, the screen was all bubbles. It was not flexible enough so that you can apply the sheet by the edge first and then pushing out the bubbles as you stick more of the surface to the phone. Pushing out the bubbles didn’t work; there were so many. I have applied protector sheets to my previous phones, PSP, DS – not just mine but my friends’ too – and I have done so with other brands successfully. So it’s not as if I don’t know how to do this. Also per the instruction, there’s supposed to be a second peel-off sheet after you’ve stuck the other side to the iphone. There was no sticker that said to pull from a corner. If you manage to pull off the top layer, a thin film is left which is slightly sticky and you realize the part you just pulled off wasn’t meant to be pulled off.
If the bubbles don’t bother you and you just want privacy, this product is great — because you don’t notice the bubbles when the screen is lit.
And despite the bad product, I would still recommend buying from Eforcity. They are fast! I’ve purchased from them before and I bought something else from them for this last shipment. Everything was perfect except for this screen filter.

the privacy screen fits the phone perfectly, sometimes not all screen protectors fits the iPhone right. It’s glossy and feels like the original screen without a screen protector, so their are no problems with the touchscreen efficiency. The dark tint for privacy is so much better than the Macally screen I have before. I am very pleased.

While the privacy aspect serves the purpose well, this screen cover darkens the screen dramatically. I had to adjust the display for a brighter screen but it does not improve much and also shortens battery life. In addition, it dramatically diminishes the clarity and the screen looks slightly blurred. You can see the diagonal lines running across the screen. I’ve had no issues with screen touch sensitivity. I will more than likely go back to my regular screen protector as I miss the sharp, bright screen display.
Update: Removed this filter half hour after writing this review … it’s that bad.
